Recommend this n00b some video games!
 

Alright guys, the other day I splurged on a Nintendo 3DS XL. This is the first video game that I've purchased in like 6 years (outside of gifts for other people), and I need some advice on what games to try out.

The games I own for it currently are:

Adventure Time: Hey Ice King, why'd you steal our garbage?!!
Kid Icarus Uprising
Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor, Overclocked

I'm into old-school RPG's like the old Final Fantasy games, and Chrono Trigger. I also like stuff like Castlevania and Megaman... the Shin Megami Tensei game is cool, but a bit too weird for me.

So, my bass-playing friends, what do you recommend to someone relatively uninitiated to modern video games?

There's always pokemon.

Level 5 makes great RPG's and I hear the Professor Layton series is great. There's also Zelda and Pokemon. There's one with Dragons in the title I've been recommended. It's an RPG

I'll look for these next time I'm at the video game store! Zelda seems fun, I never really got into them, so maybe now is the time!
