Can anybody recommend a really good one? I really only want to spend like $150 to $200, and it has to have a weight limit of 300, but preferably above that if possible. I have searched the major websites, but I was wondering if any of you guys had some personal experience. Thanks! |

Consider this an encouraging bump.

I am not training for the Olympics or anything, just wanting to break a sweat, so I figured it may be okay.
But, like how you are, I don't know anything about them. I have had a regular bike, but this is going to be interesting, haha. |

Still have it and use it almost every day.
No electronics and manual resistance adjustment.
I've lost about 35 lbs. in the last 4-5 months with it. |

I went on a Caribbean cruise a couple of years ago and used their exercise room which had a NordicTrac recumbent bike. It was a really nice ex. bike, but I think they go for $450-500. Does anyone know the workout differential between an erect bike and a recumbent bike? I.e., is one better than the other or is it just that the recumbent is more comfortable? |

Also, it helps you breathe better since you are sitting back, and it helps you burn fat faster. If you are a hardcore regular biker, you want the erect one, since that is what you are used to. |
