Honestly, I'm having a huge problem relaxing lately. Playing bass and guitar and listening to music is good, but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I know this isn't always practical in PA in the winter, but get outside in the woods. It's easy, free, and will get your head right.

I'm going to go for a stroll tonight actually. The weather isn't too bad right now.

Go on a date.

Wander the city with no direction in particular.

Buy and read comics. For serious.

Go down to your local massage parlor. The one with the red lights.

Then tell us how you feel!

Go outside. Run a bit then walk home. Don't think the whole time.

When I want to relax, I do a few different things. These are in random order:

Play basketball by myself
Play computer games
Read a book
Go to the movies (either with friends, or alone)
Watch a few episodes of a favourite TV show
Find a seat outside and watch the world
Lay in the grass on a warm sunny day

I can’t seem to face up to the facts.
I’m tense and nervous and I can’t relax.
I can’t sleep, cause my bed’s on fire.
Don’t touch me I’m a real live wire...

my first suggestion is illegal.

My second suggestion would be what has been said: a run/walk/jog, hike in the woods. Sometimes getting the blood moving helps you relax. It does wonders for me, and I'm naturally jittery guy.
