Religion on the forums

Ok, after having a bit of a browse around i've noticed there is a fair bit of religious talk going on in these forums. With the likes of clubs like "The Christian praise and worship band bassists club part..." or whatever. And the threads such as church or steak" Now last time i checked this was a forum about BASS, and BASS PLAYING. So why is there the need for all the religous banter??

I'm pretty sure is someone wanted to start a "Satan worshipers bassists club", or a "muslim bassists club", or how about " a gay & lesbian bassists club" there would be an uproar i'm sure.Yet all this christian stuff is just fine and dandy here.

I'm pretty sure there are hundreds of forums on the net where christians can discuss "God" and religion or how great the service at church was last sunday, so go there and do it.

rant over...carry on

Yes... "Christian stuff" as you offhandily call it, is indeed "fine" here on the forum.. If you wanna a muslim, mormon, gay & lesbo thread I guess you'd better be thinking how to come up with an OP. Rant all you want to...

I'm right there with you.... but I must say that a good share of our bass playing brothers actually play AT church. That is why it's allowed.

They aren't being religious... just talking up the issues faced AS a praise and worship band bassist.
