I'm really disappointed with how slow the pages are loading on TalkBass now. I have high speed. I get the ad at the top of the page immediately then the thread comes thru about 5 seconds later. |

It loads very fast for me, and I am far away from the server.
Maybe it is your internet provider. |

Strangely enough, it mostly happens during the day here in Europe when the number of visitors on the pages is low.

I think I can rule out my internet connection, as well. It happens here at work, at home, and at my girlfriend's house. Unless Verizon/Level3 is having some sort of odd routing issue on a backhaul or something, I don't think this is ISP related.
Next time it's slow, do a PING talkbass.com -t from a command line. See what kind of response you get. That'll help tell you . Also can do a trace route to see where things are possibly getting held up. |

I found the easiest solution is just to call Pacman up and ask him to pedal a bit faster. Try it.

Perhaps the internet tubes in your area are getting clogged. You might need an internet plumber. |

And why don't you have adblock to block those ads anyways? |

2) Because I support TB. They get revenue from the ads. I've also found some cool readings, events, and deals in those ads. |

Yeah, I'm sorry guys - I'm in Korea now, and the interweb bike has trouble working here. I'll be home tomorrow - try it then!
