Replace the Color Wheel in DLP TV or Get a New TV?

just curious,

anyone do it? picture started flickering the other day, and BAM, jake locker suddenly looks way more purple than usual.

have had my samsung dlp for more than 6 yrs, and just this month alone, replaced the lamp, heard about a "light tunnel" issue, and now this. the signs are telling...

but then again, spend $80 on a color wheel, or spend close to $1000 on a tv?

I don't know squat about TV's, but I'd rather get it fixed. $80 vs. $1000 is a no brainer..unless you want to upgrade it anyway.
