She gets hit in the fore-arm....
she keeps reporting. Pretty brave. As the tape goes on she looks more and more terrified.
No politics...I feel bad for anybody caught up in **** like this. http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe...ef=mpstoryview |

I really hope that this conflict doesn't escalate. |

And they have so much more to gain if they take over China. I'd like to see them try |

What a broad definition. I can see a whole bunch of stuff that would be considered "politics". |

I'd like to see them try | Right I dont want be political here, so all i'll say is that the cold war wasnt about bullets...it was about ICBMs and intelligence...we all know what couldve happened if the russians HAD decided to fire a "shot" at the US.
Anyway, back OT this angers me. My father is a journalist and, right up until recently was doing TV like this. He did work in Northern island during the troubles and spent time in Bosnia during their troubles.
We all know being in a warzone is risky business but shooting at a TV crew and members of the press who are wearing well marked flak jackets is as bad as shooting at civillians. |

The network NTV told CNN it was unclear who fired on the vehicle, striking journalist Levent Ozturk in his left eye.
| How exactly did you come to the conclusion that it was the Russians firing on the vehicle? Quote: |

It was only after the lady got shot that someone started to put a flak jacket on. Unless you mean other incidents.

She shouldve been wearing a flak jacket marked PRESS but its pretty obvious she's a journo, you know - standing infront of a camera and doing a PTC and all...there are a fair few incidents in Iraq too. I'm just glad my dad decided that war correspondent wasnt the job for him... |
