The return of Beavis & Butthead!

New episodes of Beavis & Butthead are reportedly in production!

NEW YORK, July 14 (UPI) -- New episodes of the animated 1990s series "Beavis and Butt-head" are in the works, sources at MTV told the New York Post.

The show featured two crudely drawn teen slackers who criticize the music videos the network showed. Both characters were voiced by creator Mike Judge.

The Post said the first new installments of the series in 13 years would keep the titular anti-heroes as high school students, but would feature them commenting on contemporary music acts.

Judge, who also created the popular series "King of the Hill," is working on the upcoming episodes of "Beavis," the newspaper said.

When the new installments might air was not reported.

Huh-huh,...lower dude.

FWIW. It was admitted to me in my senior year of high school that there was a group of kids that used to want to kick my *** when I was a freshman; since I was constantly imitating those two. Good thing I grew out of that phase.

It would be cool if they made that into a webcast/DVD/Netflix since I will for no reason whatsoever have cable TV in my house, let alone MTV.

I'd like to see them comment on MTV's other content, too, though. B&B talking about Jersey Shore, anyone?
