Revolving Credit Lines??

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all:

Has anyone ever had a corporate revolving credit line with a dealer, such as "G****Center"?

I am not referring to a personal line of credit here.

The reason I am asking is to find out if anyone has gone through the process of buying equipment (i.e., for their church) and financing it. I am in the process of helping my church do this without going directly to the church's bank.

Tax exemption at this time would not be of the greatest help, because we would be financing it.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, GC and other major music equipment companies use HSBC Retail Services to maintain their credit cards. I don't advise doing business with HSBC Retail Services without thoroughly evaluating their credit card contract agreement and company policies. They are not the most forthcoming company to do business with (I'm talking about HSBCRS not GC).

American Musical Supply, Zzounds both have easy payment plans with no interest charges. They simply divide the purchase price into equal payments of 3, 4 or 5 months. They automatically take their payment from your account. I used this type of purchasing without any problems many times.

The Perfect Bass has a layaway program that also is interest free and may be a useful alternative.

Good luck with your gear search and purchase.

Mike
