Riddles Are Abound Today

OT seems kinda dead today, so how about a riddle?

There is a cabin in the woods, everyone inside is dead. How did they die?

If anyone has any more riddles post away.

For the aforementioned riddle to be interesting you need to give more info(ie, there were no guns involved, no electricity, etc)- otherwisw it's more *20 questions* than a riddle, IMO. Sadly, these days one could easily imagine a scenario where everyone inside a cabin dies.

I feel like not spoiling it on the first post. It's a good riddle

You can ask as many questions as you like...however you don't need to ask any.

Ok, did the aforementionned "cabin" previously have wings and engines attached about 20K feet in the air?

My riddle
What does a turkey do when he flies upside down?

MINT! I gotta ask, was this thread an excuse to use that pic?

If so, great thread anyways, I love this kinda stuff. That one had me for a bit.

Turkeys can't fly

No, I'm not that clever...that came up in a google image search for "you win." The thread was actually just an excuse to name a thread on bass forum after a Les Claypool song and see if anyone noticed.

Yes, they can. For short distances. They often roost in the lower branches of trees.

Dead man, lying naked in a field, w/a match in his hand. HOW DID HE DIE?
Feel free to spoil it- I'll be stepping out in a bit.

They can fly in the sense that the wright brothers could fly, or a flying squirrel could fly...more like jumping rather far.

Like in the sense that Racoon Mario can fly.

Flight is the process by which any object achieves sustained movement either through the air (or movement beyond earth's atmosphere, in the case of spaceflight) by aerodynamically generating lift, propulsive thrust or aerostatically using buoyancy.

From wiki, but it's true. Flying squirrels actually glide, hence not true flight, whereas turkeys generate lift and can raise their altitude using wings, albeit for short distances.

Turkeys can fly. It may not be impressive, but they can fly.

You have bested me in logic...

Although both Racoon/Tanuki Mario (thank you Matticus) and the wright brothers analogy still stand true.

Yes, my philosphy degree, while essentially useless, has given me the ability to argue and debate better than the average person. It has also given me the ability to get not most people's nerves.

The wright brothers achieved flight. Very turkey-esque flight, but flight nonetheless.

Yeah that is what I said. The turkey, Mario, and The Wrights all achieve(d) brief flight.

Also I did we settle the riddle? I think regardless of the actual definition of flight that I've gotten the riddle correct. Hover?

Also the guy with the match riddle is really freaking hard.
