Dark Star is one of the great, underrated movies. Alien is, of course, four-stars all the way. RIP.

Man that is sad, he was a huge talent and shaped so much of the Si-Fi films we all grew up with. I can still remember seeing Alien in a large first run theater in Washinton DC. The hype was that grown men were puking in the isles. Much about it was ground breaking. That film is still at the top of my list for best film in regard to being impressed when I first saw it. R.I.P.

What a shame he was one of my favorite screenwriters. He had a brilliant, creative mind and never achieved the level of noteriety he deserved.

R.I.P. Dan

That was the first "real" movie I saw in a theater at the age of 11.

Wow.

RIP.

I thought I was the only human alive who'd ever heard of Dark Star. RIP, indeed.
