Sad day, one of the greatest offensive minds in NFL history.

That's for sure, Gard. He made the NFL fun to watch (unlike the West Coast offense, which became a bunch of 3-7-yard passes once it got into the hands of lesser practitioners than the 49ers). RIP.

A true innovator. One of those guys you wish would have won championships. Dan Fouts, too. RIP, Coach Coryell...

Mr. Coryell's coaching tree includes Ernie Zampese and Norv Turner. Both Coaches of Dallas, so he will have my respect and prayers for being not only an integral part of the NFL but of the success of my favorite team.

RIP My good man.

God Bless, Ray
