Goosebumbs dude. I got 'em bad right now. I was just listening to my zune on shuffle today when cash came on. I sounded really good, so I listened to it for a while longer. Felt really good after wards. I see why now. Goosebumps.

What a great man though, may his legacy and music live on.

Just turned on to his music this year.
I see why he was so well loved and respected.
Cash lives.

Check out the movie Ridin the rails (1974)

One of the great things about Johnny Cash was that he defied tradition and allowed musical artists appear on this show that were out of the mainstream, even though his show was 1969 to 1971. These included Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Eric Clapton. I think Ray Charles appeared also, which was an somewhat unusual in that time of segregation in television.

A sad, touching video. Sums up the aging process pretty well. So many tributes and accolades have come his way in his time that the only thing I can think of adding is this:

Johnny Cash was just a man, but a REAL man, the way men should be.
