Died today at age 97.

The Streets of San Francisco won't be the same without him.

+1
I had to google his name, but once I saw his picture I knew who he was.

The guy has been in a lot of great classic films too.

RIP

I think my favorite (or at least one of them) is On the Waterfront. Time to pull out the DVD again.

That's the second set of three. Should be quiet for a while.

David Carradine
Ed McMahon
Farrah Fawcett

Michael Jackson
Billy Mays
Karl Malden

If Mays doesn't count, then we are due for one more soon.

Malden worked in the steel mills of Gary, Indiana, and quit during the depression to study acting in Chicago. There he met his wife, also an acting student. They were married for over 70 years.

I'd say Mays counts.

Should Carradine really be on the list, IIRC he died on June 3rd, all the others died within a few days of each other. There's close to a 3 week gap from Carradine to the next death which was Ed's on June 23rd, then after Ed's the rest all happened within 7 days. I've always understood the death comes in 3s thing to mean they all happen within a weeks time of each other.

I remember as a young kid watching him on Skag.

I think I'm the only one in my family that remembers that show.

RIP Mr. Malden

He and Billy Mays have something in common. They were both pitchmen. I remember those AmEx card commercials.
