Him and Farley doing that Chippendale's skit on SNL was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. RIP.

If I was somehow him and aware that the first couple of responses here included that SNL skit I'd be proud. RIP

Painful death, pancreatic cancer. Tough way to go out.

I still chuckle over "No one puts Baby in the corner" though.

I agree, a respectable guy.

I must admit that he is not one of my favourite actors. But I think he certainly was well above average.

And as a person, I can't say anything negative about the man.

He is responsible for some classic and decent movies.
I have much respect for him and what he did.
Certainly a class act that he worked all the way to the end.

My thoughts are with the family he left behind. He was too young and I know how it is to lose someone to this terrible disease.

Rest in peace mr Patrick Swayze. I'm glad the pain of the disease is over.

And I hope you get all the tribute you deserve the next couple of days, weeks, years...

My wife was in tears about this when I got home last night. She was a professional dancer (musical theater) and had the utmost respect for Swayze's terpsichorial skills...used to say her dream was to dance with him some day.

I really dug him in Road House.

I wasn't really a big fan of his, but thought he was a respectable actor.

I've got to wonder if his alcoholism and 3-pack-a-day habit contributed significantly to his untimely passing. It's sad, but possibly preventable...

Pancreatic Cancer is I believe one of the more common cancers for heavy smokers. That's what got Bill Hicks.
