This is terrible. He was one of the only talking heads that didn't make me sick after five minutes. I'll miss him.

This is pretty tragic. I'm pretty picky with my news reporters, and usually end up going to the faux-news of Daily show and Colbert report, but he is one of the few "real" news guys I could stand, and actually liked listening to.

RIP

Russert was one of the select few who could keep his personal biases out of his reporting. He will be missed.

A huge loss, indeed. I was a journalist in a former life, and he was maybe the only TV guy I admired. RIP.

Wow, I was the gym when I saw it pop up on the tube & I thought they were talking about his dad...
...and he had just returned from a vacation in Italy.

Oh, man...& Sunday is Father's Day.
Not good.

Thank you, Tim, Job well done. Rest in peace.
Returning from his son's graduation from college in Italy.
My heart goes out to his family.

Seemed like a real genuine guy. I rarely watched Meet the Press but always enjoyed watching him when he was on NBC or MSNBC.

People dying in their 50's is way too young. Seems like he died like my father-in-law (another great guy). You're feeling a little off of your usual then all of a sudden it hits and it's too late, no warning signs.

He will be sadly missed.

He was a quality journalist. I hate to see him go so young.

I feel extremely privileged to have had a chance to hear him speak on two separate occasions. He really was a giant among men in his field, and a brilliant and just man. One of the few public figures I've really admired. Peace be with you, Mr. Russert.

I have a huge amount of respect for Tim Russert. He did his job to the highest standards and many in his profession could learn a lot from him. He was also regarded by those who knew him as having great character.

RIP
