I'm in the middle of reading "The Van " by Roddy Doyle [of The Commitments " fame] and find myself in a similar situation.

Absolutely! I love thai chicken soup. As to buying from a street vendor, as Maki would say, I've done worse.

Pfft. I've bought bacon wrapped hot dogs in Tijuana. I'd probably buy them again.

Absolutely! I almost voted for carrots too, because Thai noodles really benefit from grated carrot and crushed peanuts. And a butt load of hot red pepper!

If I was in the mood for thai chicken noodle soup, sure. At the moment, however, I'm full of burrito.

I'd want a local to assure me I wouldn't become a spurting chocolate fountain after ingesting, otherwise, sure.

BTW, are you related to Frau Blucher?

fixed

See post #3 , also , I made a ripping soup today and thought of my own street vendor gourmanDe proclivities regarding food safety / rules whats allowed .
I even interviewed a health inspector/musician in my neigh!bourhood , he was encouraging and advised that an effort for more options was being made with regard to what's allowed.

The short and plain answer is I'm thinking of selling food on the street but , which food ? hence the poll
hope this helps,
cheers,
John

Thanks- sorry to be a spelling Nazi fascist, but I wasn't hearing the horse for fraublugher. More seeing this guy:

But I digress- I need to say that the term *ripping* would remove a fair bit of caution for me. I might order/eat it even if the aforementioned local reassurance was questionable.

This makes me want to give my Thai ex a call. That's exactly how she'd make Thai soup and wouldn't teach me how to make it.

Seriously, I wonder how much call there would be for such a stand; I'm thinking *Thai food, including/specializing in hot chicken noodle soup* might do better. I'll try it- where are you located?
