So I guess this means even more people getting into the music scene, which is pretty cool. I'd be interested to see if you could hook this up to a midi sequencer for live use, I'd love to get my hands on one to try it out.

That's pretty impressive! It'd be pretty cool to see if someone comes up with a way to plug these into ProTools and use them with loopers and all that.

Honestly there is no way in hell I'm playing that thing, it has WAY too many buttons for a controller. The concept of guitar hero/rockband was to make it more simple, not the other way around. I think I'll just stick to doing the actual thing IRL because I have social skills that allow me to interact with real people in the real world

Read this at the bottom of the article:

"Send an email to Mark Wilson, the author of this post, at mark@gizmodo.com."

Makes sense

Rockband 3 also has an agreement with Squier for a midi guitar. I wish I could find the article. Don't hold me to this until I find it.

I am working on a project directly related to this but cannot share any more details at this point Talkbass will surely hear more from me at the right time though.

I'm really at a loss for words at this. I have no idea how they are going to do the screen now, unless they just roll TAB across it horizontally.
