Rose, Bud, and Thorn

I know I have not been here very long but I thought I would share a tradition I picked up in the back country of Philmont Scout Ranch.

Every night before we went to sleep we gathered around the campfire and do something called rose, bud and thorn.
You had to say something that made you really happy or excited dureing the day (your rose) something that you were looking forward to either tommorow or later in the week (you bud) and something that bugged or pained you dureing the day (the thorn)

It did not have to be in any particular order just w/e you wanted. It was a nice ending to a long hard day with friends. Mayby it will work here to. Idk but lets try.

My rose today was turning in and being done with a large chem assignment.

My thorn was this uber dense fog, both the weather and my mental state.

And my rose is getting to watch my girlfriend sing at solo and ensemble this weekend.

Anyone else care to share?

Why do you have two roses and a thorn? Did you smoke your bud?
