The Samsungs aree very good, very dependable and if it does break, they have great customer service and a great replacement policy. I had my 19" for just over a year, we had a power outage and it developed a retrace line at the top of the screen. Called them up and they said we'd like to replace it. I said but I have had the thing for like 12-14 months, they said we'll replace it. We will send it to the closest UPS store to you, you take your broke one down. Put it in the box your new one comes in, and send it back, we even pay the shipping both ways. I was stunned.

Samsung.
I tossed out 90 dell monitors this year that failed after just losing their warrenty.

Asus' are also good if you want a tank.

Samsung for sure. They have some of the best LCD monitors out there.

depends what you are looking for.
Samsung makes a great monitor that looks great.

Asus doesn't look as good as most samsungs but they are bullet proof. I ordered 300 or them for the k-12 I work for 4 years ago and have only lost 4 of them.

Like I said 90 dells with in a year.

Do you want to use the monitor as a tv? If not, get the T240 from samsung, it's cheapah but doesn't have a built in tv connector thingy. Everything else is exactly the same.
