A FB friend posted this on his profile. I thought it was pretty cool.

Watch it in HD widescreen.

Some of the guys on the RC forum that are into aerial photography do that with their aerial photos and videos. Somehow they get a really good effect using photoshop. I've never tried it.

That was cool. At first I was sure the 'set' was an elaborate model and I was amazed. But it soon became evident the people were real. Now I know what people do with terabyte hard drives drives.

How often does a surfer in the water get nailed in the head by a surfer up?

Yeah, this video is an example of some horrible etiquette. Generally speaking, the first guy up has the right of way, anyone dropping in front of the guy has the right to get pounded (not to mention that it's dangerous as hell), then if you're paddling back out, you have to paddle into the wave and take duckdive under the whitewash to give the guy the best wave he can get. You don't want to try scrambling for the shoulder and create a situation where you're trying to race a dude screaming down the line at 30 MPH.

bumping this thread because I watched this video again and for some reason I'm facinated by it.

If I ever get myself a Digital SLR I will certainly be getting a tilt shift lens.

EDIT: Maki, why do they call that break the Sandpit,...does it churn up a greater than usual amount of sand?
