Save the Dogs!!

Sign in to disble this ad
The Turbo Dog, a rare breed, reminiscent of a cross between a chocolate lab, border collie, and caramel retriever, is now endangered after the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina...

These precious bundles of joy used to be vibrant in the Louisiana area but are now hurting for homes because of the millions spent on damages to water systems. This rare breed of dog needs high quality water to survive...

This isn't a plea for money...no 2 cent donation is needed...we just need good energy from all you folks around the world...and if you see a Turbo Dog, smile...and give it a home...

cheers

Heh...yeah, you passed out huddled next to a kitten inside a garbage can...my stomach wasn't strong enough to see what you were doing with the kitten...

Thank you. I've spent the last few years admiring the packs of Turbo dogs that roam free here. The devastation rendered on their habitat by Hurricane Katrina was truly a shame, but their numbers are creeping back up thanks to awareness. It's all about awareness.

So if I wasn't aware of the garbage can or the kitten, I couldn't have let you in here.

My coworkers are wondering why I'm laughing out loud. I told them it's because I just got their home address.

Any stray Turbo Dogs are welcome here in Greensboro, NC. They will find a good home in General Natty Greene's Old Town BROWNstone.....

Thank you for reaching out and providing a shelter for them. We need more people with a big heart like you.

There has been a weird occasion that small 'packs' of them have been coming over here to the coast...I give them homes whenever possible...you should see 'em playing in the water...adorable.

No turbo dogs yet in Colorado. If I see one I shall give it a home with my dogs on our five acres. It can eat gophers then.

I have regularly found them prowling around the cooler section of my local Earth Fare here in Greensboro, and when I am able to, I always take a pack home to care for...they seem to enjoy the cooler areas...cute.

If we all keep doing our part, they'll survive...and yes, very cute...

Thank you for making us aware of the plight of the Turbo Dog. If I see some of them roaming around near me, I'll be sure to welcome them to my home. From what I'm reading, it sounds like we'd get along just fine.

They're very docile. Sometime I sit in front of the TV and pass out with one in my lap.
