So, I'm flipping through the HD tier of channels, when I come across Megadeth live in San Diego. They were fantastic!! Extremely tight.

It made me think of my high school years . . . Hangar 18, Holy Wars . . . good times.

It made me miss Chuck Schuldiner from Death. I know it's unrelated, but it made me think of it.

Sorry for the ramble.

It was called HDNet, and it just shows random things to prove how awesome EVERYTHING (including Dave Mustaine) looks in HD. Earlier in the day it was fighter pilots doing training runs through the mountains . . . which was unreal!!!

Those shows on HDNet are KILLER! I've Tivo'd VR, Megadeth, Papa Roach, Godsmack, and a few others.. BTW, did anyone know that the singer from Godsmack is a pretty kicka$$ drummer? They did this segment of the show where they wheeled out another kit for him. He played bongos and then did a synchronized thing with the drummer.. I'm no drummer, but IMHO it was AMAZING...

Oh yeah, and their bass player's pretty wicked, too..

When I saw them live they were pretty darn tight. My only beef with them is with their lack of stage presence (mostly Dave) and Dave Mustaine in general (all Dave).
