I remember my Grandpa watching Benny Hill when we were at his house when we were kids and we all (except for my Grandma) thought it was just funny....although, 35 years later, I get that we were all laughing for different reasons. Also get why my Grandma didn't appreciate the humor so much.
So here we all were, me, age 40, the GF-49, the kids 7-8 and everybody likes Benny Hill. Most of this stuff would be considered "sexist" or at least "controversial" nowdays, but a good time was had by all.
I remember one time, they were in a restaraunt or something and he flipped a grape off his spoon and it landed in some girls cleavage. Another time, it looked like he was peeing in a public park or something bit when he turned sideways so you could see, he was just holding a garden hose. Another time there was a front shot of a barmaid that looked like she had massive breasts, but when she walked away, it turned out to be a couple of old bald guys hiding under the bar.
What happened to humor like this? I really miss it.
Amyway, that guy was a pretty fart smeller.
