The SB Halftime show.

The medley thing is so-so. And Daltry and Townsend definitely don't have the voices of the good all days. Their range is about a third of what it use to be. But the band sounds pretty good, and great sound, Pino is really forward in mix and that P sounds great. So-Far

Compared to the old days it was bad. Couldn't even hear the bass which is a shame (at least on my TV that is)

One good 3-second shot of Pino, and another 2 seconds where Daltrey was standing in front of him...
Eh, that's more than I thought he'd get!

Overall, Pete and Rog rock pretty good for old guys! I liked them at least as much as I liked the Stones!

Like those cymbals too!

I was saying to myself, "Damn, who's that on bass?" Then they swung over and I saw it was Mr. Double-P, and I then I realized, "Oh. No wonder!"

That guy always makes the best note-choices and his rhythm is just superb. I love the way he plays!

Well, they had a couple of things on the Stones halftime show. They were in tune and they actually played together. Townsend pulled of some respectable windmills and actually sounded about as good as he's going to sound playing lead.

He never was the stud-hoss lead player, more of a power-chord master. Looked like he was having a little trouble with that jacket falling onto the strings...

Wardrobe malfunction!!!!

Please tell me I'm not the only one here who picked up on the extreme irony of the band playing "Won't Get Fooled Again" at the Super Bowl halftime show - surely one of the highest-profile corporate-supported, corporate-themed performance platforms in all of show biz...

My, how times have changed...

When I compare it to what Prince did, it was a big dog turd. Someone should shout in pete towsend's good ear and tell him that you can't sing if you can't hear what the rest of the band is doing.

The vocals were really meh, but i think the performance was really well done. They rocked it, the stage was great, i really liked it atleast, and the playing was good. they were havin fun, and did their job well, dont criticise them for playing the superbowl, if you could, wouldnt you?

Oh, well, if you must bring Prince into it... he did set the bar pretty high.

And he was getting rained on at the time...

I missed it (along with the rest of the game) but I'm guessing it was a medley of CSI themes.

It was 1/2 decent. It seemed to me that there were a few missed cues and it wasn't all that tight.

I dug the Stones' 1/2 Time show. I thought they rocked!

No matter what you have to say about whether they were good, bad, whatever, there can be NO DENYING that was the most awesome stage you've ever seen!
