Given how society is these days, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

I'll say a 3.

But 10 if it's a female body builder.

I started working out on a weekly basis when I was 12 years old. I don't really see any creepiness in it unless it's all the kid does.

Hahahaha, that reminds me of an episode of Family Guy. It's the one where Quagmire discovers internet porn.

Slightly less creepy than 7 year old girls participating in beauty pageants.

Depends on if you are trying to compete or just working on a good physique.

At 14 you aren't going to get absolutely massive without artificial assistance.

I'm gonna have to go with 0 on this one. Why would this be creepy?

A whole lot less creepy, IMHO.

Child beauty pageants are creepy to the power of 10, which makes them 100 on a scale of 1 to 10.

14-year-old bodybuilder? Probably 0-3. I'd have to see the example to say (and I wouldn't particularly care to).

A 14 year old bodybuilder is much less creepy than a 14 year old drug addict or snack eating coach potato.

One of my friends started bodybuilding in 8th grade (12 years old) and by the time he graduated high school he was solid muscle and also a state champion gymnast. But he didn't make himself really bulging huge or anything like that. That would be creepy.

There's a 14 year old girl here in Jersey who just won her age competition in wieght lifting (including guys) by bench pressing something like 75 pounds or so. It was in the paper here, but frankly I didn't pay much attention to it. So long as she's not on steriods it's fine with me. From what I remember of the photos, she didn't even look over muscled; not like the guys and gals who participate in those 'body building competitions.' Yeah, I find the beauty pagents for pre-teens (and even young teens) a lot creepier than the sports types...

The guys who are bulging huge, are (the vast vast majority of the time) up to their ears in steroids.

Her age group in power lifting it would be. They look much bigger really, clean female weightlifters and powerlifters aren't totally huge (unless you look at the top weight class, and even then, it's muscle with a lot of padding).

Weightlifting - Olympic event, consists of two lifts, 'Clean & Jerk' and Snatch.

Powerlifting - Event which (as standard) consists of three lifts, Deadlift, Squat & Bench Press. Funnily enough, weightlifting is all about power lifts, power lifting is all about strength based lifts.

Bodybuilding - Nothing to do with strength, all about image. Marked on various physical traits. You also get natural bodybuilding events which are strongly against 'roid use, and the folk in those aren't the huge stereotypical bodybuilders.

I'm just pointing this out because a lot of people see someone using a barbell and think it's all the same thing. Three very different sports

Bang one. Although some natural body builders can get huge, take Mike O'Hearn for example.

it has a potential to be creepy. Like, is this kid roided out or someting?

Can't forget the stereotypical guy thats "working out" by doing a few curls and then seeing how many girls have started looking in his direction.

I did power lifts all through high school while I wrestled. Really didn't make a big difference in my looks (I've always been overweight for my height), but it really helped my performance. I started around 15 and I really don't see the problem with this unless he looks roided out.
