Which scale reading to use?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys. My gym has a doctors scale in one of the rooms and when i use it, as soon as I get on and slide the weights over, it gives me one number, but after I make sure to adjust the weight so it has the right number, I have to move the weights over to the left, so that I weigh less. It stays at this weight.

Should I go by the initial reading, or the one that lasting reading?

Thanks!

It might be binding on something. When you get on the first time, tap the doohicky to make sure it's moving freely.

Well, it moves freely, but I guess it may just take time to fully register the weight?

If that was true, you'd be able to stand still and see it move. Sounds like it's kind of wonky to me.

I have no idea. I mean, maybe its trying to balance it out, cause after I move the weights a little it stays at one spot.
