school loans

So I finished college in march....for now....and aquired way too much debt. I'm still in grace period, and figured now would be the time to consolidate. Anyone know where I should go? Loans are through sallie mae....I'm on American education services website now...but it only consolidates the federal loans...where do I consolidate the rest?



i have 11 separate federal loans, and 3 private ones where federal wouldn't cover the total.

Unemployed? Or employed? If the former, you can defer for a good while. Do all the math when consolidating and don't be afraid to shop around. I'm not a fan of consolidating but if it makes things easier for you, do it.

I had just about the same ammount and it took me a while to pay them off. (working 2 jobs and having little to no social life)

I plan on going back to school, but I am going to buy all the gear I have wanted for a while before I do return back to the world of student loans.

I agree with Whoapower, if you really want to consildate SHOP around.
