Scientists can record images from the brain...

This is scary. Scientists have actually worked out how to record images from the brain. They believe recording people's dreams will soon be possible.

I'd be more interesting to see if this technology can be reversed to give blind people their vision back.

I'm quite sure a recording of my dreams would be x-rated. Certainly nothing I'd think anyone would be interested in.

However, when they can record sound from dreams I'm up for experiments. I've dreamt a number of amazing songs, only to have them go 'poof' when I wake up.

anybody remember that flick where Robin Williams played a 'cutter' (editor) making homage videos after people were dead by downloading clips from their visual cortex (or was it their brain?).

besides, recording video (WITH AUDIO!!!) has already been done:

One of my favorite lyrics is from Built to Spill. It goes "I wanna see movies of my dreams." Something in me wants to keep that line a fantasy, but I always love to see technology in progress.

Ha, this reminds me of an old horror movie called Dreamscape. Anybody else remember that?

Old news. I had it done last month.

This is the second image they recorded:

I can't post the first here.

Yeah, the brain imprint technology where one could record one's experiences and another could put on a "hat" and live the same thing. So this young guy recorded some hot relations with a woman, and an older guy kicked the bucket replaying it over and over. His trip to the afterworld was recorded on the machine. I forgot what happened next.....

Man I can't wait for the future.

Specifically, going to space, recording my dreams, and accessing the internet from my glasses anywhere in the world!
