Yesterday I plugged in my SD card reader with the card in it to the computer at work. It was one of those small tower looking things that isn't actually a computer...it just has all the connections for the keyboard, speakers, monitor...and has a few USB ports. So the reader blinked a few times and when I went to open up the card...it was blank.
I tried another actual computer here at work and again...it opened the folders in the card...but nothing there.
I thenput the card back in the camera and it said no images. I went to the format option in the menu and it showed that 5.7 gig of 7.8 is in use.
What gives? I surely hope that my pictures and video of my family are not missing now.

I did check. It wasn't and hasn't been locked. I forget to mention that I also put it into my card reader on my TV and it asked if the card was in? Again I assume for whatever reason these devices are not reading the pics and movies. Not sure what to do from here.
Cool link. Thanks you very much and I will try it out if the following fails. owever..I asked a camera shop owner I know and he said bring it in and he will have his, "guy", fix the problem for me. He says they get it all the time and said not to take anymore pictures with it. That they will be able to get the files off and onto disc for me...and get the card back into usable service..
