So I read an article about it and decided, what the heck, I have some time to kill tonight. I downloaded the client and signed on. What is supposed to be virtual reality chatting seemed to me like a bunch of people "selling" virtual sex! I mean, it was all semi-nude avatars saying "hey, baby, wanna sit down for a while?". I couldn't find a single place to have a normal conversation about anything that didn't involve "pay me for virtual sex". And to boot, it's slow as heck! I much rather waste my insomniac time on a FPS like Urban Terror.

These things are ridiculously popular and now with the Playstation 3 getting something similar in Home and the X-Box 360 going the same route... well... for those that enjoy that kind of stuff, have fun.
I will stick to shooters and strategy games. |
