Secret Menu Items

Was helping the girlfriend get moved in at college. Kind of a strange, emotional time, sine\ce I wont be going back there myself

Anyway, before we left, we went to visit a couple friends in a neighboring dorm, and the one girl had this up on her computer:

Ordering "off the menu" at fast food restaurants.

More indepth one here

it's pretty crazy, but i would really enjoy a Wendy Classic Quadruple Baconator right about now.

I worked at McDonalds for two and a half years and we came up with some crazy stuff. Best creation was the bacon McFleury. No jokes, that thing was great.

Every time I've gone to McDonalds for a while now, I get a coffee shake, which aren't on the menus around here. Both them and Burger King will sometimes have odd shake flavors (Raspberry Mango, etc.) that aren't on the menu, but you can ask what they have.

THE BEST BURGER EVER!

I had sworn off all fast food mystery meat burgers until I tried those. It actually tastes like what it is, and not preservatives between a bun.

I knew some people who tried this kind of thing at Wendy's. Apparently the highest they would go was 6 patties on the burger. Kind of interesting but the effect on your health, yikes.

When I worked at Mcdonalds, a friend of mine ate a big mac with 10 patties on it.

Closest thing for me was a study drink from Starbucks. Instead of a Red Eye [1 shot espresso + black coffee] or Black Eye [2 shots of espresso + black coffee], I'd get 4-6 shots of espresso + black coffee in whatever their Venti [large right??] cup.

I have an extremely high caffeine tolerance, so that'd be enough to keep me awake without getting the jitters. It got really expensive-something like $4-5 each. Add a piece of dark chocolate in it and it's even better.

I'd get those when I had a long night of studying ahead of me or when I was driving for extended amounts of time [5hrs or more].

Now? I can't handle that much coffee-i get an upset stomach.

The closest we got when I work there years ago was quadruple quarter pounders.

Also a Veggie Big Mac with tomatoes instead of meat patties was pretty good.

the same thing happened to me. the last month of college for me was a bizarre trip of all-nighters fueled by Red Bull, Amp, and Monster. now, i can barely stomach them. It seems as if I've lost my caffeine tolerance.

Ah yes, we came up with some tasty creations back in the day at Pizza Hut.

Nowadays I work at a gourmet restaurant, so I can make whatever the hell I want.

I can't remember the last time I went to In-N-Out and didn't get my burger animal style. Not really a secret though, as every In-N-Out I've been to makes it without blinking. They'll also do one for you protein style - no bun, with the burger wrapped in lettuce. The only person I've ever seen order it that way was a girl on some BS "no carbs" kick.

I usually get the double-double animal style at in-n-out. I also usually get the short double cappuccino if I must go to Starbucks. I don't really view either of those as being much of a secret though.

You cannot order shorts at most "licensed starbucks" which are the Starbucks in airports, bookstores, college campuses etc... They are not really official starbucks.

Animal style burgers are great, but the animal style fries RULE.

I've asked a few places we go to to make me a Burger Cheese Bacon. This would be the opposite of a Bacon Cheese Burger - a pound of bacon with cheese and a thin patty of hamburger on top of that.

They thought I was joking. I DON'T joke about bacon!

the best way to get great indian food (in the uk anyway) is to ask for a bowl of the staff curry

that way what you get is the real deal authentic, no the made up stuff they generally serve people

cheers
