What about Easy Rider?? I'm not real sure, but I think there may have been a few allusions to stuff in that movie.

Well, they flat out showed pot smoking and acid dropping, so I'm not sure that qualifies as allusive.

No, Irony is the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning, what you did is called "making a joke that bombed."

It wasn't a movie, but HR PufnStuf subliminally washed my brain with psychedelics for a few of my formative years. That was about as blatant as anything I've seen on a kid's show.

Despite the overall psychedelic visuals and story lines, PufnStuf = puffing stuff? Lidsville?!?!
