Seemingly MIA...
 

As I have read several threads about members who have gone silent recently, I realized I haven't seen anything from TXBassChick for a while. Checked her profile, and the last time she posted was in January 2011. Anyone heard anything about her? I always found her comments thoughtful, and her comments on her experiences with bands were a big help when I was starting out. I don't remember hearing anything about her in the last two years, and I know she said she was facing some health problems, but... Yeah, I sometimes worry about folks I have never met in person, and she is someone whose comments here made me respect her.

I always enjoyed her posts. She had some downright amusing anecdotes.

I know I often say this when these threads come up, but I miss Jazzbo.

After seeing the very same threads You referring to, TXBassChick was the one that came to my mind immediately as well.

IIRC she had some tough times with her moms health problems and with her family in general, and it wasn't all peaches with her work either.

I enjoyed her posts as well, hope she's all right.

Then again, she may have found a steady gig that keeps her occupied and off the kbd :).

Disenchant is another entertaining female TB character who has slipped away. Since she got herself married, she's been very scarce around here.
