So long as the thread is about how to go about selling a bass without going into details of value or brand, it's kosher. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Feb 2010 Location: thieveland ohio | | | i've had TWO eBay accounts banned in the past. these were accounts with 100% good feedback. one was banned with no explanation, and no reply from eBay's customer service. the other was banned for being a "deadbeat bidder", when i actually paid for the item and never received it. this was back in the pre-paypal days when we used money orders and they sometimes got lost in the mail. rather than try to straighten it out with me first (could have easily been resolved by canceling the money order and sending a new one), he reported me to eBay and i was banned.
i've had my current one for a few years now. 100% feedback once again, and i only use paypal. smooth sailing so far.

A buyer lied and left false negative feedback for me and eBay wouldn't do a thing, despite his threatening and derogatory emails to me.
In addition, their fees are WAY out of line.
I would rather wait a year to sell something on Craigslist than to give eBay another penny.
Sorry to rant. Sell your bass here! These are great people and you will get a better deal with less pain than selling on eBay.
