Springing from excanes thread about his portrait, I thought it would be interesting to discuss the value you place on things that are sentimental to you.
Do you have anything you would never sell under any circumstances no matter the price? Do you have sentimental items that you would sell for a certain price?
As for me....nope on never selling. I have some sports memorabilia I would sell for the right price, but nothing so valuable it will never leave me.

He's a great guy and he's the only normal guy my sister has dated and I'm happy to have him in the family. Plus, Kurt Cobain co-designed the guitar. How could I get rid of something like that? And plus I couldn't sell any of my Nirvana CDs. Or my Nirvana shirt or hoodie. Or Kurt Cobain's Journals. That thing is like my bible.

Probably my first good bass, my Fender Geddy Lee. It is one that has always been here. I have had problems with others, but I can always fall back on it. The next thing that I couldn't get rid of is a fish I cought and had mounted......and 8 pound 3 oz Largemouth Bass.

My first decent bass was large part of my life for a while. I eventually came to terms with selling it and did just that (here, actually).
