Saw this earlier. Basically Pat Robertson saying that the Haitian people made a deal with the devil to get them out from under French rule and that's why they've been besieged with natural disasters.

I have heard this said before. Not sure if it was from him or someone else.

I have spiritually sensitive friends who have been to Haiti and they say the vibe in that country is very weird and definitely dark. But none of them would ever go as far as to make a claim like that.

At the very least, for Robertson to re-surface his theory at this time is in extremely poor taste.

I disagree. If we were all procrastinating from flying down there to do rescue work, then you'd have a point. But we're not--we're on a discussion forum, and we have either donated or not donated as we saw fit, and now it is time to observe how psychotic Pat Robertson is (and always has been).
