Serve?

Sign in to disble this ad
I know there has been some unhappiness with PayPal recently and people looking for alternatives. Has anyone heard of Serve? I saw an ad for it this morning on ESPN.com, and decided to follow the link. It is backed by American Express, so I went ahead and signed up. It says there are no fees for person to person transfers, and you can fund your account via a checking account or debit card for free. If you fund your account with a credit card, there is a fee. It doesn't look like you can do a direct payment from your bank account or credit card, it all has to come from your Serve account.

Here is the website: Serve | Home

That is not a referral link, and I won't benefit in any way if you decide to sign up. They do have a referral program, but I am not promoting that.

Me neither .. I think PP is great .. I just keep a running balance .. if the $$ isnt in my PP then I don't buy whatever it is. PP is a great way to stash money aside .. just for you .. at least for me. It's how I keep dad's stuff happening .. it's off budget and under the radar.

PP hasn't given me any problems either, but I like American Express anyway, so I signed up.

Outside of TB, I don't use PayPal any longer. Other forums I frequent use Amazon Payments, which I like a lot. Until that one lets me down, I won't sign up for yet another online payment system :P
