OK so Ive heard the following rumors regarding sesame street:
1.Burt and Ernie got married to promote the idea of gay couples is OK.
and
2.Cookie Monster is now Veggie Monster.
Please somebody confirm that this is not true, especially #2. Cookie Monster is the man, and the original death metal song is C is for Cookie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BovQyphS8kA

He's still the cookie monster, but he tries to eat healthier now. Didn't he used to eat garbage as well? I'm pretty sure he once ate Oscar's trash can.
The other rumor I've heard is that Sesame Street DVDs come with a warning that the older episodes do not reflect the current values of Sesame Street (with regards to eating, etc). |

No I dont still watch the show, if I did I wouldnt have to ask these questions. Sometimes I watch the old clips on youtube, like when cookie monster tries to call santa claus but he gets hungry and eats the telephone. ITS SO FUNNY! When I was young I watched it like all the time.
