Don't know if you guys saw the commercial for this iPhone App, but it listens to songs and spits back the title, artist, and a link to download in iTunes in about 15 seconds.
Well, I tried to trick it, I can't.
I played All Summer Long by Kid Rock (which samples Werewolves in London by Warren Zevon) and then played the same part from Werewolves in London, and the thing knew the difference. Incredible.
This thing might know a few more songs than I do. But I gotta say, I'm impressed.

I'm absolutely astounded right now.

I had a similar app on my Samsung Blackjack, but don't remember what it was called........and the Blackjack is no longer with us to find out.
Based on what you guys are sayin', I think I'll have to try out Shazam! |

Picks up just about all the obscure jazz that I hear on NPR. And I love how it saves them all with the album covers and other info, so you can go back and browse through everything you tagged when you're ready to pick up a new cd or two (or ten...). It's perfect!
