Priority Mail for a box 22 x 15 x 6 , weighing 8lbs was 32.95! Outrageous.

Should have just sent it regular ground, insured.... With it having to go thru Canadian customs, it pretty much nullifies any speed in mailing it priority. Probably would save you $15. It will likley sit in customs for a week, before being released.

In my experience, the post office website doesn't automatically show you the cheapest options, unless you click on something like "other options." Bless their hearts. Also, Priority rarely gets anywhere quicker than regular parcel post. And you can now get delivery confirmation on regular parcel post.

That's pretty cheap for eight pounds. If you were to send this through UPS or Fedex, it would've cost at least $70 to go through customs.

UPS are thieves, the charge illegal custom fees. It is well documented.
