And this is not a rumor this was actually taking place.
Apple said that the reason for not accepting cash(and only allowing two Ipads per purchaser with cc) was to help control piracy. |

If you use your debit or credit card, you can still put them on ebay. Are they also cheaper at the Apple stores than at other stores? Also, what service do you have to sign up for? The reason why I am asking is right now we only own a desktop computer but my wife and I have been discussing getting either a laptop or and I pad in the future.
