Should I shave my head?

Like the post said. I've had longish hair for a really long while. This is what my hair looks like now pretty much, although its usually less mushroomed shaped.

I do have a large head. I was thinking of getting everything down to like a quarter inch or so. Also unlike the picture, I have sideburns now.

2. I would if I could, but I had my man card permanently carved into my chest with an arc welder and chisel.

Eh well.....speaking as a part of society with no other choice....

I like it, it's cool in the summer....but given the option, would much rather have hair.

it's liberating.

all of my hair actually grows, I just prefer not to deal with it.

Stumbo - I have done that before with the bald/beard thing. My wife loved it!

Hey GE,

Some people look great with a shaved head, others, like me, it is unimaginable. You. Doesn't realy matter, you have no chance of ever looking good, so go with what the moves ya!

I don't own Doc Martens, and I usually don't wear suspenders. I usually dress like an old person.

Shave it to a number one and get under a really powerful shower. It's something everyone should experience at least once.

By shaving do you mean buzzing, or taking it down to the skin?

Buzz it. Don't shave it.

It's a great way to go. 1/4" sounds about right. Then I let it grow out - sometimes it gets nice and wavy again. Soon as it starts p*ssing me off, giving me too many bad hair days (usually 3-4 months out)... I get the buzzer back out and mow the lawn.

I haven't paid for a haircut in almost 20 years and I sure don't miss it.

As an aside, I used to work for this old, bald, master sergeant when I first joined the army back in '72. As a 17 y/o buck private, I was real egg shell walking with him at first, then he invited me to open up some. One of the first things I did was give him a sarcastic remark abou being bald. His come back, "You only have so many hormones in your body. You want to waste yours growing hair?"
