Ah! the new 5.0....A ground up new engine. I'm a Mopar guy but I have to give Ford Kudos for the amazing job they did on the new 5.0.

Don't tell anyone but that thing comes with waaay too much HP and Torque, 430 HP and 410 FtLbs Torque( I think) outta the showroom, and if I lapse in my attention just ever so slightly it'll sneak up on me and scare to poop outta me. Just between you and me OK?

Okay, I'll play.

I sold my 1980 Z-28 back in 1994 and had bikes for a long time. But with a family, my bikes sat more than they got used.

Sooooo.....this year I decided to go back to a cool car. Mopars have always been my love (currently I drive a Ram 2500, the wife had a Nitro), and I bit the bullet and bought THIS:

2012 Dodge Challenger R/T. I had to get it with the 6 speed. Plus, this car has the Super Track Pack option which gives it some cool stuff like an upgrades suspension, better handling package, sway bars, blah blah blah.

I have no regrets. This car is amazing in so many ways. It's put away for the winter with a whopping 2900 miles on it. The only upgrades I've done are the Hurst 6 speed shifter, splashguards, some interior stuff, and I installed the SRT functional hood scoops. Right now I have a Mopar front strut tower brace in a box that I have yet to install. The rear brace is coming soon.

Might not be the skinniest girl at the prom, but she sure is a good time.
