They're fine for the street, but spun big time on the strip. (never budgeted for slicks)
Suspension is stock RT-level.
Haven't driven it in ten years.

It's a 1972 Pontiac Luxury Lemans. 400cu in, TH400 tranny, Posi Rear, and power everything (windows, seats, etc...). It was ordered with every option except for the 455. |

Not much of a hot rod guy, but I have had a thing for that car since I first saw "American Graffiti" |

Should be fun once I get it finished.

I always like those from before they went to the extended roof models. |

Right now I'm finding out the downside of finally having to do a substantial teardown on a 30-year old car that hasn't required much engine work. Every hose and flexible part is self-destructing as I remove it, the exhaust system is pretty much frozen into one chunk of metal, and some bolts are beyond salvage. It's going to take time.
In the past I've done a clutch, steering rack and many other parts, but in 30 years I've never had to pull anything off the engine except starter and alternator. Now it's getting even.
