Sick DroidX-Need help

My ringtones keep getting switched. They're supposed to be Worf saying "Captain, incoming message" for emails and txts, When You Awake by The Band for calls, and beeps for everything else but they keep changing. Anybody know what's wrong and how to fix it? I hate having to listen to Sting (drum playlist) every time I get a txt.

You could just go to a simple tone when you get a text. A good rule is to UNcomplicate first, then add complexity back in, one step at a time.

And if you have a bazillion downloaded apps, start deleting the ones you seldom use. They're often the reason for odd behavior.

Wipe it and re-install the OS if worst comes to worst. Pain in the butt, but no worse than upgrading the OS - which also means you wipe everything.

Maybe it is a friend playing a trick on you and resetting them?

No love for TNG? TNG is the best out of the franchise IMO...
