Just finished watching this movie. Possibly the most intense movie I have seen so far, and while it's not a horror, it frightens me more than any other.
I'm not really comfortable with the suspense and murder, especially with such a lovable main character.
Dr. Hannibal Lecter has got to be one of the best "bad" characters out there. Can't think of anyone that tops him in that category, not even Heath Ledger's Joker.
One thing I didn't like about the movie, was that they focused too much on Buffalo Bill, and not enough on Lectre and Starling, which I thought was the highlight of the whole film. The Bill segment was too "normal" for me, even though it brought the most intensity for the film.
Anyone else like the movie?

If you're interested into delving into the character of Hannibal a little more, watch the movie Hannibal which takes place a number of years after Silence of the Lambs. It pretty much revolves around Lecter and really centers around what drives him.

What I meant was that he was one of the best sub-villains (I say sub- because it doesn't feel like he's a "true" villain in the movie). He's my favorite character in the film.
Also, Clarice Starling is veeerrrryyy pretty

-Mike | It's better because it's more really. The movies, as usual, didn't touch all of the details in the book. |

As for the book/movie this thread is about, yeah it scares me real good too when I watch it.
