Had always heard of this movie, but I didn't decide to watch it until last night. I only made it through half because it was late, but I think I'll finish it later tonight.

I only vaguely knew the plot, but HOLY CRAP!!! This movie has just about every which way of MESSED UP!

Decapitation, castration, cannibalism, dismemberment, pedophiles, murder, rape, prostitution, crooked cops, hit men, kill-for-thrills, and I'm only half way through!

Good movie though. Is anyone a big fan? Does it get any crazier? Do all the stories lock in at the end?

I'm interested!

Thanks!

The saving grace of this flick was seeing Jessica Alba in skin tight leather - OUCH!. I also liked seeing Elijah Wood in the role of a BAAAAAD guy!

I liked the movie ... seen it a few times ... but not a "big fan". It's a good "there's nothing else on, late at night" type of movie. The movie doesn't get any crazier ... it just stays the course.

If memory serves me correct ... All the stories don't really "lock" in the end. Each story line pretty much has it's own ending (some tie into each other more than others). Elijah Wood's character seems to be in more of the story lines than the others.

+1!

Marv (Mickey Rourke) stole the show IMO. Sin City 2 is in the works and Marv will be returning.

Well the dude took like 50 shots before he finally went down. I think he's badass enough to come back from the dead!

Sin City 2 will be based on a graphic novel that is set earlier.

So...prequel as far as Marv goes.

And I don't think it was the 50 shots that killed him...the electric chair might have had more to do with it...

I remember thinking..."wow...this movie sure is long...". And that's about it.
