P.S. Don't invite Cole. He drinks some awful concoction known as
"Jager bombs" It makes him think he can score with college chicks | I take they involve jagermeister, but what else?
A couple guys i know take doubles, dont think they have a name for it tho (1 shot jagermiester and 1 shot goldshlager in the same glass)
Also, "Dirty Jacks" are apparently quite nice, Jack D and coke with a shot of jagermiester mixed in

Great thread topic by the way! | Peaty it DEFINITELY is. I can only drink Laphroig in small quantities. |

Actually, I think a Jagerbomb is Jagermeister mixed into Red Bull. It tastes like what my idea of butt would taste like. |

I whacked Paul Dalglish (Kenny's boy) pretty good in that game, I think he was 16 at the time.
I've enjoyed the battery acid ever since.
Glenmorangie Port Finish +1. Quote: |

I've heard many a tale of Lagavulin, but haven't got the chance to try it yet. I also enjoy Glenfiddich and had The Macallen once which I liked quite a bit. I started with scotches quite after trying Chivas Regal, which remains my favorite blend. | |

Editor-in-Chief, Bass Gear Magazine | | Join Date: Apr 2003 Location: North Central Ohio | | In one of my bands, Gingley JoH, I was outvoted 3 to 1 as to what would be the band's "official shot." The other 3 guys chose Jagermeister. I chose tequila. So, at any given show, I have numerous beers, some shots of Jager, some shots of tequila, and (for those who don't know us) some shots of whiskey (usually Jim or Jack). Needless to say, an iron stomach is helpful!
That said, for shows where I don't have a designated driver, I severely limit my alchohol intake. And even when I do have a DD (which is most of the time), I do make an effort to limit my intake to such a level as to allow me to adequately peform my musical/vocal duties (well, as adequately as I ever perform either!). After 16+ years of gigging, however, my tolerance is pretty darn high. Still, I've watched some really ugly videos shot during our early years before we all figured some of this out... |

| | | | I'm all about macallan right now - will have to try out some of that laophrig or whatever it is.
Normally I'm drinking the 12 yr but I also have a bottle of 18 yr I drink now and then which is quite nice.
Had some macallan 25 on my anniverary that was hellacious tasty.
On another note - another time I had a 25 macallan at a gourmet place and they did this nifty thing - they filled another cup with very hot water and placed my scotch glass on that one and it heated it up - holy smokes! it made the flavors EXPLODE. Unfortunately, I'm the only person in my little group of friends who likes scotch so I was unable to convey how good it was to them. (My wife hates it so much she won't sit near me when I drink it. heheh) |

My typical approach is to use a thin walled glass with no stem that I can hold in my hand and let my body temperature warm it up ever so slightly.

Applications Engineer, QSC Audio | | Join Date: Jul 2001 Location: Costa Mesa, Calif. | | I had the good fortune of meeting Michael Jewels, Dave Wilson, and Major Metal in New York nearly two weeks ago. We met for dinner and brews at the Heartland Brewery near Times Square, and then we went to the St Andrews pub a block north on 44th St. St Andrews boasts 195 different single malts, so I decided to try one I wasn't familiar with: Bruichladdich. Man, that was delicious! I'm going to look for a bottle of that scotch when I have a chance.
I'm going to post a thread with photos that tells about our get-together and all that went on with it--which includes a fire. |

Oh yeah, on the "scoring on college chicks" scorecard looks something like 0 and 288, but offending them can be quite satisfying as well.

Somewhat to my surprise, that is exactly what it would do to me every time I got bashed on it. And I'm normally a friendly drunk! Heck, I'm even friendly sober, which is perhaps atypical in my profession... |
