Skyfall

Okay, who's seen it?

I'll admit I'm a total Bond geek and just woke up after getting home at 3:30 after the midnight showing.

Long story short, see it. Perfect movie to celebrate 50 years of 007. Gives a nod to 007 of old, while moving forward.

I'm not a Bond geek, but I like flying motorcycles and things blowing up. I was thinking of checking it out, so hopefully more folks will chime in with reviews.

Well, someone besides "the book was better" people.

I'm glad to hear it's good. I've seen every Bond movie made (I'm pretty sure), and I'm enjoying Daniel Craig in the role.

EricF, I do a 22 movie Bond marathon every year between Thanksgiving and Christmas (about one a night between the holidays) and love to see Bond progress.

I love Daniel Craig in this role. He's the closest actor to Ian Fleming's James Bond.

And Mike, the books are always better, but the movies are still great! Ian Fleming's writing is just that good!

I just hope it's better than Quantum of Solace. That was a bit of a let down after the near-perfect Casino Royale.

And yes, Daniel Craig is the first Bond to challenge my belief that Connery could never be topped. They are neck-and-neck in my mind.

Goes without saying. That was an action movie with James Bond in it.

Skyfall is a Bond movie.

That's good news. I am loathe to go to theaters in this modern age of convenient home delivery of digital entertainment, but I may have to go queue up for this one, as I did for Casino Royale.

It's one of the first movies in a long time that I'm actually *wanting* to see.

Even though it has been out a couple weeks, its still pulling huge crowds to the cinema. Planning on seeing it this weekend.

Everyone I know who has seen it has loved it, best DC Bond film, and as has been said, it's apparently a bond film, not an action film, like his last one was.

Saw it on IMAX last night. It was pretty entertaining. Some classic throw back in this one. Go see it on the HUGE screen.

I saw it on the big screen at midnight and just got home from the 7:00 show in IMAX.

Even better the second time around!

Gives a nod to Bond of old and sets us up for Bond of old.. ... and I thought the ending was interesting..I liked all the Crasig movies.. Craig is the most believable Bond ever IMO. Connery will always beBond to me.. just as Shatner will always be Kirk.. but Craig is very believable.

George Lazenby lived in my neighborhood.

I just saw it and think that there wasn't enough "bond girl and the black girl wasn't good looking enough. Bardem steals the show.

It is better than Quantum in my opinion, and I am close to deciding it is better than Casino Royal. I am going to see it again in the theater soon.

Eve was just fine for me, but I was looking forward to more of Severine. She was definitely one of the more interesting Bond girls from recent movies.
